What we collect and why
We use your email address to send secure start/resume links and application updates. Your application includes your chosen team, contact and study details, availability, experience and answers. Challenge records may include race experiments, hints and active puzzle time. These help reviewers understand your approach. Speed and hint use are not scoring penalties.
Machine-assisted assessment and human review
Written assessment answers and relevant challenge context are sent to TypeSafe AI (Jev) to check task-specific requirements. Contact and study form fields are excluded from those assessment requests. Anything you include in a written answer can still reach the assessment provider, so please avoid sensitive personal information in free text.
Jev results are guidance for the team. WordPress administrators can inspect the original answers, requirements met or missed, uncertain results and model output. People decide whom to interview or accept; the system does not automatically accept or reject applicants.
Saving, email and access
New applicants can start immediately in their browser after entering an email address. An emailed link is for returning later or opening saved answers on another device; knowing an email address alone does not open an existing application. Your application is stored on this website and a browser copy helps you resume work. Email links are single-use and expire after 30 minutes; you can request another whenever needed. Browser sessions last up to 30 days. The first use of an email link confirms mailbox ownership and replaces any earlier unverified sessions; later verified devices keep independent sessions. Treat your email link as private and avoid leaving your application open on a shared device.
Emails are sent through the website’s configured email delivery service. Website hosting, email delivery and assessment providers process the data needed to operate these features. Application content is not published on the website.
Retention and your controls
The portal schedules inactive drafts for deletion 30 days after the last save and submitted applications 180 days after submission. Server backup copies follow the website’s backup lifecycle and may outlast the active record.
Use Privacy & your data in the portal to download your saved answers or delete your application. For questions, corrections, access assistance or a request to withdraw, email racing@ozyegin.edu.tr.
